The Marmara Sea is of great importance in terms of species diversity in the world and in our country. Contrary to what is expected due to the intensity of industrial activities, it has a unique vitality.

 

The Marmara Sea, which includes high-yielding currents partnered with the Mediterranean climate is very rich in nutrients.

 

For this reason we started our "Species Watchers" project on Prince Islands Biodiversity in November 2020, in order to use it as scientific data and to protect species in the region.
