Forest, Coastal, and Underwater Cleanup Project
In the United States, we supported the "International Coastal Cleanup (ICC)" organized by The Ocean Conservancy, as well as the "Clean Up the Med" campaign focused on the Mediterranean in May, through seabed, forest, and coastal cleanup activities with our volunteers.
Anadolu Efes and DP World: Coastal and Forest Cleanup
With the participation of our corporate volunteers, we conducted a coastal and forest cleanup at Heybeliada. At the end of the event, which involved 30 volunteers, we collected a total of 7 bags of plastic, 3 bags of glass, 4 bags of metal, 2 bags of packaging waste, and 2 bags of non-recyclable waste.

Orzax: Seabed Cleanup
On March 3rd, World Omega-3 Day, Orzax Pharmaceuticals, the Turkish Society of Cardiology (TKD), and the Turkish Foundation for Environmental Education (TÜRÇEV) joined forces to host an underwater cleanup event called "Clean Heart, Clean Sea / Blue Heart, Blue Flag." The event took place at Heybeliada Çam Harbor, where we utilized our boat Valmira, Turkey's first and only blue-flagged NGO vessel, and deployed a team of 6 divers. Our mission was to highlight the significance of Omega-3 for heart health while conducting a seabed cleanup. By the end of the event, we had collected 7 gunny bags of assorted trash from the sea floor.
